Position Overview:

We’re looking for experienced and passionate Maths teachers to join our dynamic delivery team on a temporary basis. With both full-time and part-time hours available, this role involves teaching GCSE Maths to learners aged 16 to 18, many of whom are aiming to improve their prior attainment. You’ll play a key role in helping students build confidence, develop their numeracy skills, and achieve academic success in a subject that can transform their futures.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective GCSE Maths lessons to 16–18-year-old learners
    • Plan, structure, and assess sessions in line with curriculum requirements
    • Support learners with varying abilities and promote an inclusive learning experience
    • Monitor and report on student progress, providing timely feedback and intervention as needed

 

Key Requirements:

  • A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent)
    • A degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject
    • Experience teaching GCSE Maths in a Further Education, school, or sixth form setting
    • A commitment to inclusive teaching and continuous improvement
