Salary:

£30,000 to £33,380 per annum
Market Forces Supplement may apply — potential salary up to £41,977 depending on qualifications and experience

Position Overview:

We’re seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Business Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching to learners across our Level 1 to Level 3 Business programmes. In this permanent role, you will inspire 16–19-year-old learners and adult students through engaging lessons that reflect current industry practices and employability skills. You’ll play a central role in shaping learners’ futures and helping them thrive in the world of work or further study.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and well-structured Business lessons across a range of vocational levels
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learner progression
• Monitor and assess student achievement, providing timely feedback and interventions
• Contribute to curriculum planning, internal verification, and departmental improvement initiatives

 

Key Requirements:

• A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent)
• A degree in Business, Business Management, or a closely related subject
• Experience teaching vocational Business in a school, sixth form or FE setting
• A strong understanding of current industry trends and how they apply to curriculum delivery
