Position Overview:

Bolton College has a great opportunity for a Maths Lecturer to join their dedicated team of educators. As the Maths Lecturer at Bolton College, you’ll be teaching across the GCSE curriculum to support learners aged 16 to 19. You’ll be instrumental in student success and equipping learners with tools needed to enter their chosen career paths.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • To deliver engaging GCSE Maths tutoring to learners aged 16 to 19.
  • To plan and structure sessions so that the curriculum is covered in depth and learner experience is at its best.   
  • To assess student progression through appropriate methods.  
  • To actively engage in maintaining high quality standards.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience of tutoring Maths at GCSE and vocational levels.
  • A Maths degree or equivalent relevant qualification.
  • Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
