Position Overview:

BTS and Bolton College have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Developer to join us on a permanent basis. Bolton College is the leading Further Education institution in the design and development of AI services. As our Systems Developer, you’ll play a crucial role in the development of AI systems to aid learning. Not only is this a fantastic opportunity to secure a full-time position focusing on one of the most exciting areas of technology, but it’s an opportunity by fully funded self-development through PhD study.

As our Systems Developer, your key responsibilities will be:

• Design and develop a state-of-the-art AI model that both teachers and learners can utilise the maximise learning opportunities.
• Support the development and maintenance of a range of online services including ProMonitor and ProPortal.
• Develop integrated systems to improve usability.

As our Systems Developer, you’ll have the below skills/experience:

• PHP development
• Database development in MySQL & MSSQL using relational data models
• Strong business acumen
• Intuitive & solution focused
