Location: Bolton College, Deane Road Campus

Hours: Part-time, Monday & Friday, 6-12 hours per week

Pay: £20 – £28 per hour   

Term: Temp to end of October

Start: September 2024

Position Overview:

BTS and Bolton College have a great opportunity for a Science Lecturer to join us on a temporary basis. As our temporary Science Lecturer, you’ll be teaching across the Level 3 BTEC curriculum to learners aged 16 to 19. If you have a good knowledge of Chemistry and Physics and are enthusiastic about inspiring the next generation of Scientists, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver lecturers covering BTEC Level 3 Science material to learners aged 16 to 19.
• Plan and organise session to ensure a high quality of delivery.
• Support students to achieve through constructive feedback and assessment.
• Assess student progression through appropriate methods.   

Qualifications & Experience:

• Teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent)
• Degree in Science or related discipline.
