Role: Supported Internship Teacher

Location: Bolton College, Deane Road Campus

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Pay: £20 – £28 per hour   

Term: Temp to end of October (potential to extend)

Start: September 2024

Position Overview:

Are you a dedicated educator with a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of individuals with special educational needs? If so, we have an exciting full-time opportunity for a creative and committed Supported Internship Teacher. As the supported internship teacher, you will be delivering employability sessions to learners on site at Amazon, supporting them in their day to day placement in the business and job coach them to reach their highest potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Co-ordinating the delivery of transition to work programmes for young adults with learning disabilities.
• Delivering a high-quality employability curriculum whilst embedding Maths and English
• Provide individual training and support to the interns at the Amazon worksite

Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience of delivering Employability sessions to learners.
• Experience working with learners with special educational needs.
