Position Overview:

BTS is looking for an Assessor & IQA Skills Trainer to join Bolton College on a temporary basis to upskill the current teaching staff. Bolton College provides a wide range of vocational courses, and our teaching staff are at the heart of delivering an excellent learner experience. This position is key to ensuring the continued professional development of our teaching staff and in turn the continued improvement to learner experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality training in Assessor (TAQA, A1) and IQA (V1, TAQA IQA) qualifications to existing teaching staff at Bolton College.
• Support teaching staff in achieving these qualifications through coaching, mentoring, and developmental feedback.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Relevant Assessor and IQA qualifications (e.g., TAQA, A1, V1, or equivalent)
• Experience delivering and assessing Assessor and IQA qualifications within a further education or vocational training setting.
