Role: Maths Lecturer

Location: Bolton College, Deane Road Campus

Hours: Full-time

Term: Temporary to 14th February (anticipated to extend)

Salary: £20 to £28 p/h inclusive of holiday pay

Position Overview:

Bolton College has a great opportunity for a Maths Lecturer to join their dedicated team of educators. As our Maths Lecturer at Bolton College, you’ll be teaching GCSE Maths to learners aged 16 to 19. In this position, you’ll play a vital role in helping learners to achieve the standard they require in Mathematics to enter their chosen career paths and progress.   

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging GCSE Maths lectures to learners aged 16 to 19.
• Plan and structure sessions to ensure excellent learner experience.
• Provide an inclusive learning environment which fosters confidence building.   
• Assess and monitor student progression through appropriate methods.  

Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience of tutoring Maths at GCSE and vocational levels.
• A Maths degree or equivalent relevant qualification.

• Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
