Role: Progression Officer

Location: Bolton College, Deane Road Campus

Start date: ASAP

Hours: 17.5 per week

Term: Temporary to Easter (expected to extend)

Pay: £15 to £20 per hour

Position Overview:

Bolton Talent Solutions has a great opportunity for a Progression Officer to join the Bolton College team. As our Progression Officer, you’ll play a key role in retaining and progressing our learners to ensure they get the most out of their time with us. You’ll be responsible for guiding students through progression opportunities as well as transition and enrolment support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Visit classrooms to engage with existing Bolton College learners who are coming to the end of their courses to provide information, advice and guidance as to progression opportunities.
• Collect learner feedback particularly focused on Community Learning.
• Provide progression and transition support to learners who wish to enrol at Bolton College on Community Learning.
• Support learners with their course transitions and enrolling.

The ideal candidate:

• Enthusiastic about adult learning
• Able to engage learners on both a group and one-to-one level

• Experience in customer service would be an advantage
