Role: Business Lecturer

Location: Bolton College, Deane Road Campus

Hours: 24 to 28 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Pay: £22 – £28 per hour

Term: Temporary (anticipated to end of June 2025)  

Start: ASAP

Position Overview:

Bolton Talent Solutions and Bolton College have a great opportunity for a temporary Business Lecturer to join our thriving Business & Hospitality Team. As our Business Lecturer, you’ll be delivering a mixture of BTEC, T-Level and Access content covering areas including Accounting, Law and Business. You’ll have the opportunity to inspire learners aged 16 to 18, in pursuing a career in a business discipline.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver content across BTEC, Access and T-Level syllabuses.
• Work with learners aged 16 to 18, to develop understanding and build confidence.
• Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment that encourages active participation and critical thinking.
• Assess student progress through appropriate methods.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Business or associated discipline  

• Teaching qualification
• Experience of delivery in a college environment
