Job Opportunity: Caretaker

Location: Bolton College, Deane & Debry Community Centre / Brownlow Fold Community Centre

Hours: 27 hours total

              Monday to Wednesday, 7:30am to 10:30am & 2:45pm to 4:45pm

              Thursday, 7:30am to 10:30am, 3pm to 4:30pm & 5pm to 9:15pm

              Friday 7:30am to 12:45pm  

Pay: £12.40 per hour + holiday pay

Term: Temporary from June 30th to July 4th (one week)

Position Overview:

We are looking a dedicated and reliable Caretaker to join our Estates team on a temporary basis. If you take pride in maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments, we want to hear from you! This is an excellent opportunity for an individual seeking flexible, short-term work while making a positive impact on our college community. There would be potential for further work upon completion of this assignment.

Key Responsibilities:

• General site maintenance, including minor repairs and upkeep
• Ensuring the college premises are clean, safe, and well-presented
• Opening and securing buildings as required
• Reporting any maintenance issues promptly

What We’re Looking For:

• A proactive and hands-on approach to caretaking duties
• Reliability and a strong work ethic
• Must hold an Enhanced DBS registered on the update service
• Able to drive and have use of a car
