Job Description:

BTS and Bolton College have a great opportunity to join the team as an Electrical Assessor. As our Electrical Assessor, you’ll be responsible for an apprenticeship caseload in electrical installation studies and support apprentices in the workplace. You will work closely with employers, students, and college tutors to provide guidance, support, and assessment in line with awarding body requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct workplace assessments for electrical apprentices and learners.
• Monitor progress and provide feedback to learners and employers.
• Maintain accurate records of assessments and learner achievements.

Requirements:

• Recognised qualification in Electrical Installation (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds 2365 or equivalent).
• Assessor qualification (A1, TAQA, or equivalent) or willingness to work towards one.

• Monitor student progression and liaise with subject tutors, parents and learners as appropriate.   

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum Level 3 Teaching Award
• Experience of progress monitoring would be a benefit
