Position Overview:

BTS is looking for an experienced Plastering Assessor to join us on a full-time temporary basis. In this position, you’d be responsible for taking on an Apprentice caseload in Plastering and conducting assessments on learner progress throughout their work placements. We have an extensive construction department at Bolton College and so you may be required to support with assessments across several wet trades in addition to conducting Plastering assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take responsibility for an apprenticeship case load in Plastering.
• Provide thorough assessments on learner progression considering both employer and learner feedback.
• Travel to employer sites to meet with learners and employers.  
• Support on apprentice caseloads across various wet trades when required.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Assessor’s qualification i.e. A1, TAQA, D32, D33 etc.
• Level 3 qualification in Plastering
• Experience of working in wet trades
