Role: Pastoral Support Officer

Location: Bolton College, Deane Road Campus

Start date: ASAP

Hours: Full-time

Term: Temporary to Easter (anticipated to extend)

Pay: £15 to £20 per hour

Position Overview:

Bolton Talent Solutions has a great opportunity for a Pastoral Support Officer to join the Bolton College team. This is a key position supporting our Foundation department in which you’ll be responsible for pastoral guidance to our learners.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting learners with course transitions to and from Foundation
• Actively drive attendance levels
• Manage learner behaviour and emotional needs
• Support the Curriculum Leader to ensure compliance through reporting systems
• Assist in the running of Friday Vocational taster sessions and monitor engagement

The ideal candidate:

• Experience providing Pastoral support
• Able to engage learners and show empathy

• Strong reporting and organisational skills
