Role: Hairdressing Work Based Tutor

Location: Bolton College, with travel to local employer sites

Hours: 4 days per week (flexible)

Term: Temporary for 9 months (maternity cover)

Pay rate: £22.68 to £25.71 per hour

Start: 21st of July 2025

Position Overview:

Bolton Talent Solutions has an exciting opportunity for a Hairdressing Work Based Tutor to join Bolton College on a temporary 9-month maternity cover assignment. This is a great opportunity for individual who enjoys supporting learners in the workplace. As our Hairdressing Work Based Tutor, you’ll be travelling to employer sites and engaging with both learners and employers to review progress and monitor development.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging training and assessment to apprentices in the workplace.
• Monitor and record learner progress.
• Support learners in completing their apprenticeship standards and preparing for End Point Assessment
• Maintain strong employer relationships and promote high standards of practice and professionalism

Requirements:

• Minimum Level 3 teaching qualification
• Minimum Level 3 Hairdressing qualification
• Drivers license with access to a vehicle
