Salary: £30,000 – £33,380 per annum (Market Forces Supplement available)

Position Overview:
Bolton College has an exciting opportunity for a skilled and passionate Plumbing Lecturer to join our Construction team. In this role, you’ll be delivering high-quality teaching and learning to students on full-time and apprenticeship plumbing programmes, helping to shape the next generation of professionals in the industry.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone from a plumbing background who is either already in education or looking to move into teaching. Full support will be provided for candidates who are not yet teacher qualified but are keen to make the transition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons to learners from Level 1 to Level 3
• Assess student progress through practical tasks and written work
• Support learners in developing the skills, behaviours and knowledge needed for success
• Plan and prepare teaching materials in line with curriculum requirements
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver excellent outcomes for students

Who we’re looking for:

• A Level 3 Plumbing qualification (or equivalent)
• Industry experience within plumbing or building services
• A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
